Default Entrepreneurs out there

I am one of those applicants who is looking at an MBA to convert my Entrepreneurial aspirations into reality! I am sure few current students would have had a similar mind set before joining Yale SOM.

So would like to hear from Students who are planning to launch their ventures straight out of school...How was the journey so far?

Cheers
Bulls!

Default Entrepreneurship @ SOM

On an average (data based on Class of 2007 and 2008), 4-5 students each year start their own ventures on graduation from SOM. 5 students in the SOM Class of 2008 (current second year students) have started or continued to work on their own ventures this summer.

You can learn about the Entrepreneurship related courses/faculty, club activities and other resources available at the SOM Entrepreneurship Club website (http://students.som.yale.edu/clubs/e...hip/index.htm). Most students with entrepreneurial aspirations use the Entrepreneurial Business Planning class to work on their business plans. Also, Yale Entrepreneurial Institute (YEI) runs a summer fellowship program to encourage new technology related ventures. In summary, there are plenty of resources available to get students with such aspirations going!

Hope this helps!

Not sure what specifically you are looking for that will help with the admission process, but you can contact some of these students by email and direct your questions on personal experiences.

Here are the names/profiles of some of the entrepreneurs from the Class of 2007:
