I'm interested in taking some Yale Law courses while at MBA school. Do you know how grades would transfer over? Would it be a standard letter grade? Or Pass/No Pass? Or will the grading be determined based on the Yale Law school grading scale?

The grades appear on your transcript using the SOM grading system (distinction, proficient, pass, fail).

I'm taking some non-SOM classes in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences this semester, so I can comment on the grading system as well. Your professor will grade you using his or her department's grading scale (in the case of the graduate school, this is Honors, High Pass, Pass and Fail). Your professor will then work with the SOM registrar to transfer your grade to the SOM scale (Distinction, Proficient, Pass, Fail).
