I'm interested in venturing into Supply Chain Management. I am currently a research scientist at Pfizer, Inc., and I have recently become involved in many outsourcing efforts, which has incited my interest in this area. I am wondering whether the new changes to the curriculum included additional courses related to this area. I ask because I noticed that Yale was not ranked in US NEWS as a top school for supply chain/logistics. But, Yale isn't ranked a top school in Entrepreneurship, either; I can hardly believe that Yale would be a poor choice for someone interested in entrepreneurship. Can any student comment on Yale's fit for a student interested in Supply Chain?

williacr,

I am a second year student and one of the current Operations Club leaders. Supply chain and inventory control are still covered in the core curriculum in the Operations Engine course. Professor Rod Parker also teaches a half semester elective dedicated to Supply Chain management which is his specific area of research/interest.

James
