International experience

The new curriculum at Yale provides an international experience whereby students can interact with government and business leaders and bring back their experience to the classroom. Will be great if somebody shares his/ her experience and the benefits that this international visit have yielded.

I am currently a first year student and am very excited to go on the China International Experience. We wont have specific answers for you until we all return in January, but I can tell you some of the things we have done so far for China.

Our group worked in pairs to create an industry analysis for 9 different industries in China. The industries were relevant to the companies that we will be visiting once we are there. We then presented our findings to our group so that everyone is up-to-date. Some of the industries we looked into were: Real Estate, Finance, Energy, Automotive, Entertainment, Government...just to name a few!
