spouses on international trips

Hi, are spouses usually welcome to join international trips, or is that a problem?

It depends on the trip. If the trip is in high demand, then there may not be room for spouses to be part of the formal trip. On the other hand, there are a few trips where there is room and spouses/partners are welcome to come.

I do also want to mention that this is the first year of the international trips, so there may be some changes in next year's program. What I've told you is the precedent, but it's not a guarantee. For the time being, I don't see it changing either way, but we are actively looking for ways to maximize the value of these trips.
