Team Yale,

I would like to suggest a way to improve the activity and make the forums a lively place for students and adcom to exchange ideas..

Current format where every Question has to be moderated makes it more like a Email kind of response and wont encourage people logging at different time zones to participate with a quick response.

Instead of Moderating Every new post before it is posted, it would be better the moderation is done after the posting. Key word check and a limit of number of posts that can be posted from a user/Ip address can be done

Unless these changes are made, the forums doesnt serve all and applicants will loose interest..

Take a loot at the enormously succesful S2s happening at Wharton and one can see why is it so active , because it encourages participation

My intention is not to compare with another school forums but an effort to improve the interactivity on the forum

cheers

Hi BullsStamford,

Thanks for your suggestion about the board. We've structured it in this way because we found that the board was getting clogged with a lot of useless spam. Now we can filter out the spam, thus making the board easier to follow.

Messages get posted fairly regularly, as the board is monitored by a different member of our admissions committee daily.
