I am a reapplicant who is currently attending a graduate program here at Yale. I was wondering whether there are any advantages to applying in Round 1 vs. Round 2? What is the expected class enrollment size for the 2007-2008 session? Are the slots for accepted applicants in Round 1 and Round 2 more or less equal, or is there an advantage to applying for the Round 1 pool? thanks!

pechorin,

Thanks for your message. We always encourage folks to apply in the earliest round they are ready for. If you think you will have a stronger application at the round two deadline, that is when you should apply. That being said, there is no disadvantage to applying to round two as opposed to round one - we just advise not applying to round three, unless there is a very good reason.

We expect a class of a bit less than 200 students next fall.
