Hello everyone, A nice day to you.

I'm a high school student and I'm interested in the Yale Management.

so my question is, what concentration in college would be helpful to a major in business at Yale, or what skills do I need to cultivate during college to be a sound candidate for the Management at Yale?

Now I have found so many undergraduate concentrations asserting that they could prepare their students for a business major. I am now considering Economics, Physic, Engineering, commerce and enterpreneurship, or technology management, or double major two of them.

I want to build my path from college, to management graduate degree, and finally to a business career from now on.

so would you kind people please guide me, what academic direction, or an undergraduate major should I begin with?

Thank you so much for considering!

Hi utoyxc,

Thanks for your email. Although it's good to be thinking ahead like you are, we can't really advise you about what your college major should be. We have people here with lots of different majors -- from economics to engineering to english to history . . . and beyond. The key really is what you are interested in, what you like doing, what you're good at, and what you want to do for a career. There is no one major that will lead you to SOM; it really depends on those internally driven factors.

I hope this is helpful.

Best,

bruno
