Hello,

I am writing with a question on my transcript from the Master's in Political Economy program that I studied in at Univ. de Belgrano in Argentina. They will not send the transcript to me or to a university that I indicate; I have managed to get a contact of mine to pick my transcripts up at the university and send them to me - they will be stamped and certified - but they will not be in an envelope and they will not be translated into English.

Will it work for me to have the transcript translated - then send it to the Argentine Consulate closest to me (in Houston) for their certification.

Please advise. Thanks so much - Isabel Sherman

Hi,

I have a question regarding the transcript to be sent to Yale SOM. I am sending a photocopy attested by the embassy. When I send my transcript to the MBA admissions office how do I relate it to my application. I mean there is no particular identification number given with respect to my online application which I am yet to submit.

Please correct me if I am wrong as I could not locate any such pin or ID no. for the application.

As per the instructions, I guess photocopy of the transcript attested by the embassy is acceptable.

regards,

bruno

Dear targetyale,

A photocopy attested by the embassy should be fine. In terms of connecting it to your application, there is space on your application to fill in school information. When you submit your application, we will match the application with the transcript you submit. If you have already started your application, you will receive a four-digit reference number (a combination of numbers and letters) that you should reference when you submit your transcript. That will help us match the transcript to your application.

I hope this is helpful.

Best,

Bruno

Hi targetyale,

If you're unsure of your four digit code you can email mba.admissions@yale.edu and we can look it up.

Thanks,
mvitali

The four digit confirmation number is tiny, but it's there. It's at the end of the first sentence immediately under the page header "Application Status." If you still can't find it, do a page search for "reference number" and it should be right there.
