Hi,
I have been working at the same company for close to four years, ever since completing my bachelors degree. I have held 4 separate positions in the company, advancing in responsibilities and compensation levels through each one. I see that the application does not provide a place for mentioning the responsibilities. My only other full time job is commanding officer in the military (prior to undergrad degree).
a) I gather the work experience section of the application does not care specifically about post-undergrad work
b) Should I state my different positions at the same company as separate work experience entries?
c) Should I provide part time work as well (i.e. working during undergrad studies as a teaching assistant and on special projects)?

Thanks,
Ariel

Hi Ariel,

Within the Work Experience section of the application list only your current position at your employer. In the "dates of employment" part of the section list the total number of years you've been at the company (so list your start date almost 4 years ago until present).

On your resume you should list each position within the company and outline the responsibilities of each position. Any significant part-time work during undergrad I would recommend including on your resume as well.

Thanks for the response. Rereading my initial post, I was not clear on one of my questions. On the experience section, can I provide full time exprience that is pre-undergraduate work? For instance, I have 4 years of full time experience in the military in officer roles, as well as working full time in a tech company prior to my undergraduate degree. These are on my resume, in any case, but should I add them as full time work experiences?
Thanks

Hi Ariel,

You can include all pre-undergraduate experience your resume. It does not need to be within the work experience section.
