About AWA requirement

I'm interested in Yale MBA. After reviewing your student profile, I still have a question:

Your average GMAT score is 701. Then what about AWA score requirement?
Whether AWA is considered important in admission?

Dear Carrie:

Thank you for your email. We do look at and consider the AWA as we review applications, but because the score is quite variable and by itself doesn't really give a good sense of the applicant's writing abilities, we look at the essays themselves rather than just the score.
