Hello,

I知 curious as to Yale痴 policy on younger applicants. I would be 23 at the time of entry (22 right now, 23 in December 2006) if accepted into the MBA class of 2009.

The reason I知 applying at a young age is because I知 looking to switch from the technology to the banking industry.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
Jason Gilbertson

Jason,

We don't consider age in the admissions process, only years and level of work experience. With that being said, the average age of our students is 27, because our average full-time work experience is 5 years. That is not to say that we do not accept students with less than 5 years of work experience. We, in fact, do this quite frequently. However, someone with work experience of one year or less would have to show outstanding leadership qualities in other ways (perhaps through volunteer and/or college activities) in order to be admitted.
